Lorena Alamillo is a PhD student in the Pharmacology program. Her research focuses on method development to examine subcellular protein localization, protein synthesis, and protein clearance over time. Using this methodology, she explores sequential responses to progressing ER stress.
Research Interests
About
Jay Pavelka is a 4th year PhD student in Integrated Physiology. Their research explores the long-range communication between the heart and adipose tissues in the body, and how comorbidities of metabolic dysfunction affects cardiac health.
